Why the Industry Needed the Standards Check Collective
For too long, the Standards Check has felt like a test that instructors had to survive — not an opportunity to grow. The training world around it has often followed suit: generic courses, templated lessons, prescriptive fixes, and a fear-driven culture. At Coachubl®, we saw a chance to do something different. Not louder. Not flashier. Just better.
The Problem No One Wanted to Talk About
Most ADI’s don’t fail the SC because they’re bad instructors. They struggle because the system around the SC doesn’t reflect their day-to-day work, and the support available often misses the mark.
When instructors go looking for help, what they find is either locked behind paywalls, overly simplified, or delivered in a one-size-fits-all format — usually by a single voice or personality brand.
Enter the Standards Check Collective
Launched in May 2025, the Standards Check Collective is the UK’s first contributor-powered SC support environment — created by Coachubl to flip the model entirely.
It’s not a course. It’s a movement. Built with experienced instructors, trainers, and coaches, it offers modular insight, self-reflection tools, and guidance designed to support growth — not fear.
Why This Matters
This isn’t about disrupting for the sake of it. It’s about building something grounded in experience, driven by collaboration, and guided by values. The SC Collective shows what’s possible when ego is removed from the equation and people are invited to co-create something better.
It respects instructors’ time. It offers choice without confusion. It values insight over volume. And it’s growing — with new contributors, new voices, and new tools coming soon.
What Comes Next?
The SC Collective is just the beginning. Coachubl is building out a full modular SC Programme — where instructors can choose who they learn from, what they focus on, and how they grow. And if they don’t know where to start? That’s okay too — we’ll guide them there.
